​We are an independent touring company,  here to indulge your senses with not only theatre but art, dance, mime, aerial, smell and sounds.

​

Our aim is to collect the public's thoughts, translating into arts for the willing eyes and ears, performed by qualified and experienced performers. We have several performances ready for you with themes ranging from Hero to Absurd. Expect to look up, catching a glimpse of our rope artists, being followed by mimes, hypnotised with our home-made music to giving you performances you will not forget for a while.

We can work in any space, in and outside. The sky is the limit. There is no stopping StraightJacket for we are here to fulfil your expectations. Our performances are used to working in small and large venues in both the home base, UK and internationally. We have performed in many countries including UK, Scotland, France, Germany, Slovenia, Austria and many more. Currently, we are about to add one more country to the list after April 2013, Brazil.

Our performers are extremely experienced with the arts. We are a group of inspiring role models, with disabilities ranging from deafness to amputees. Most have had the privilege of performing as professional in the Paralympic Opening Ceremony, London 2013.

The company is bilingual, opening cultures from around the world to forming a unique form of theatre. So far, we have people that understand British, French, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Chinese and British Sign Language. No rest for the wicked! StraightJacket performers are experienced in working aboard and is willing to travel far to perform.
